FIT4EAT

FIT4EAT vs MyFitnessPal. Which to choose in 2026.

Both count calories and macros. The differences are in what's free, what works in Portuguese, Spanish and Italian, and training.

FIT4EAT is our app. Data on the other apps comes from each one's official pages, app stores and help centers, with the sources at the bottom of the page. If something has changed, write to info@fit4eat.com and we'll fix it.

  • you use apps in Portuguese, Spanish or Italian
  • you want training and nutrition in one place
  • you don't want to pay for the barcode scanner

Choose MyFitnessPal if...

  • your phone is set to English
  • you already have years of history there
  • you want a very large community

What's free in each

Free MyFitnessPal gives you food and exercise logging, recipes you create, macros and connections to other apps. The barcode scanner became Premium-only in October 2022, and photo logging (Meal Scan) is also Premium.

Free FIT4EAT gives you the diary, the barcode scanner, the AI-built training plan, the Ary coach, the community and weekly leagues. Meal photo logging comes with 3 analyses a week without paying.

Language matters more than it seems

MyFitnessPal is translated into Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish and Italian. But its own help center, in articles updated in 2026, says Meal Scan, voice logging, workout routines and Coach only work with your phone set to English.

In FIT4EAT, the interface and the AI's answers are in English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese from Portugal and Brazil.

Training

MyFitnessPal logs workouts and steps and has pre-made routines (in English). On its official pages we didn't find any feature that builds a workout plan tailored to you.

FIT4EAT builds the plan from your level, your equipment and the days you have free, with 1,500 exercises, a guided workout mode and GPS cardio.

Price

On the MyFitnessPal website, Premium is listed at €9.99 a month or €49.99 a year (October 2026). The App Store also shows higher prices. FIT4EAT PRO costs €9.99 a month or €79.99 for the first year, then €119.99 a year.

In short: MyFitnessPal's annual Premium is cheaper. FIT4EAT gives you more without paying.

Which to choose

Choose MyFitnessPal if you use your phone in English, already have years of history there or want a very large community.

Choose FIT4EAT if you use the app in Portuguese, Spanish or Italian, if you want training and nutrition in one place, or if you don't want to pay for the barcode scanner.
